Tennis Clothes
Tennis clothes are what many people buy when they are ready to take up tennis as a hobby. Of course no one can
play tennis without a racket but then clothing is also needed when you are to go and perform on a tennis court.
Tennis Clothes
Tennis clothes can be bought from sporting goods retailers or can be ordered over the Internet from various
online dealers. It is important that you know what size you wear both in tops and trousers or skirts depending on
whether you are a man or a woman player.
Like any apparel item in general, sizes are very common beginning with small and going up to XXL, so the range
of choice is pretty large.
Tennis clothes are categorized according to who wears them. For men, the attire consists of a tennis or polo
shirt, shorts, tennis shoes and possibly a hat, visor or a head band. The polo shirt, as it is most widely known to
everybody, has the shape of a T with collar and two buttons.
Some models also have a pocket at the chest and they are usually made of cotton. Many people prefer wearing polo
shirts even if they do not play tennis and are not really into tennis clothes. It is just that polo shirts look
very nice and they have a long history of being considered informal business attire.
Tennis clothes for women consist of a top that can be with or without sleeves (a sleeveless shirt, a polo or a
long sleeved shirt), a short skirt and underskirt, shorts or pants, tennis shoes and possibly a hat, visor or
head band just like with men.
Women’s tennis clothes look very nice especially if the woman decides to wear the short skirt. For both genders
the tennis clothes look incredibly attractive as it is in fact normal for a sport considered royal, and although
color variations are possible, most players go for white.
As far as the price is concerned, tennis clothes come in a pretty wide range of materials and brands. It is
generally recommended that sport players should wear cotton shirts and pants and skirts, but most manufacturers
today also rely on other materials like polyester, for example.
The price not only depends on material but also on the producer. The better known the manufacturer, the more
expensive the tennis clothes. But a higher price will always reflect the high quality of the products
themselves.
